New Playable© Activities from Grounds For Play... Encourage Play for All Children! Designed by renowned inventor Dov Leumi, three new play events provide a range of challenges appropriate for all children, yet with specific help in ground level activities for very basic life skills. By adding these to your play environment, you can provide play opportunities that expressly meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.  “Bowling Track” (patent pending) allows a mobility-impaired user to play independently since the balls return along an enclosed loop. The Game can involve competition, counting skills, fine and gross motor abilities, while providing both visual and auditory feedback. Encourages inter-generational experiences.  “Balance Ball” (patent pending) helps the user develop balance, visual tracking and eye-hand coordination. The tilting track encourages social experiences of sharing and cooperation. By using a basketball, players develop upper-body strength in a familiar context.  “Direction Tutor” (patented) provides skill practice using arms and hands in precise movement. Users move variously shaped rings using fine motor skills to duplicate the motions necessary for writing. All children can participate, facilitating interaction between physically challenged persons and others.
