We offer several versions of our Weather Station to take advantage of the outdoor environment’s seasonal and hourly changes in temperature, wind, precipitation and sunlight.

Preschool Weather Station

The preschool version comes in Basic and Deluxe models. Both provide clear screens to allow dramatic play possibilities and interaction. Both provide interactive knobs for children to select weather patterns based on observation of current conditions.

School-Age Weather Station

Weather Stations for older children let children chart changes in weather throughout a week or a month. Both Basic and Deluxe models provide wind direction and speed indicators plus temperature and precipitation gauges.

Add this standard-size panel to two posts, to the side of a “tot-house,” or even onto a climbing structure to increase the play and educational value of your play environment.

“Today’s Weather” Icons Children choose and move five weather icons: Sunny, Partly Cloudy, Cloudy, Rainy, Snowy	Rain Gauge Model 49030 The rain gauge makes a great addition to any outdoor area.  It has the capability to measure up to 5 inches of rain.  This rain gauge is made with a clear plastic tube with a funnel on top.  Approximate total dimensions: 3.5'' wide x 20.5'' tall.	Sun Dial Model 49031 Made from polytone and mounted on an FRP post, this sun dial uses the sun's rays to tell time. Will not work effectively in cloudy conditions.  Approximate diameter is 16''.
